Great Smoky Mountains Whitewater Rafting
Your adventure in the Smoky Mountains won't be complete until you experience the thrill and excitement of rafting on one of the area's many whitewater rivers. You'll want to put rafting at the top of your to-do list. From raging whitewater to relaxing float trips, there's a river to suit everyone in the family. Adrenaline junkies can head to the Pigeon River just down highway 40 for some class III-IV whitewater featuring big waves and frothy holes. For a more laid-back outing, try tubing in the crystal-clear waters of Deep Creek or on the Tuckasegee River. For experienced canoeists and kayakers, the area is a pure paradise, with streams ranging in difficulty from class V steep creek runs, to playboating hotspots and river running classics. With a multitude of rivers and creeks within an hour's drive, the area is one of the top paddling destination in the country.

These kayaks let you bounce over the rocks, enjoy the full extent of the rapids and no prior experience is necessary. You will become one with the river by sitting right on top of the water. These one or two person boats have incredible manuvorability, much different from a huge raft. With ability to captain your own ride you can choose which rapids to explore. This is your ticket to extreme fun!
Tubing
Do you feel like a soak and a float down a mild creek? Tubing is for you! be sure to wear clothing to get wet. Wear water shoes with enclosed heels are a must. Bring dry clothes for afterwards and a towel to dry off. Watches and loose jewelry should be left behind. Eyeglasses should be secured with a head strap.
Kayak Fishing
Fishing kayaks offer freedom to be in control of your own fishing adventure! The custom fishing kayaks have swivel seats, standing platform, rod holder, paddle, cooler, anchor system and drink holder. You can take these fishing kayaks to the lake, local trout and bass rivers or go on a fishing whitewater adventure with a guide.
